Product Introduction
The full-black module is engineered for visual integration rather than raw wattage. A black anodised frame, black backsheet, black EVA and black-coated cell interconnects remove every silver gridline and white gap, so the finished array reads as one continuous dark surface from street level.
This matters commercially in markets where planning permission, homeowner associations or conservation-area rules restrict rooftop appearance — much of Western Europe, and increasingly premium residential districts everywhere. On dark slate, tile or bitumen roofs, a full-black array is often the only aesthetically acceptable option.
The compact 108-half-cell format at 1722 × 1134 mm and 21 kg makes it easy for two installers to handle on a pitched roof, and the smaller footprint allows better packing around dormers, chimneys and vents. Be aware of one physical trade-off: black surfaces absorb more heat, so operating temperature runs a few degrees higher than an equivalent white-backsheet module.
