Product Introduction
The split pressurized solar water heater separates the collector (mounted on the roof or facade) from the pressurized storage tank (placed indoors or anywhere convenient). A closed glycol loop carries heat from the collector to the tank's coil heat exchanger; a pump station and controller drive circulation only when the collector is hotter than the tank.
Because the loop uses antifreeze glycol, the system works safely in freezing climates, while the pressurized tank supplies hot water at mains pressure. The split layout frees roof load and fits the architecture better than compact units.
An intelligent controller with temperature differential and overrun protection maximizes solar gain and prevents nighttime heat loss.
